Features and qualification

What you can do.

The statuses below describe completed tests, not universal compatibility. Available functions depend on the engine, camera and firmware.

Adjust your camera

EI, shutter, aperture, white balance and tint: choose a value, apply it and read back the actual result.

Tested on Inspire 3 / Zenmuse X9 with AM Bridge USB. AMRemote engine tested; readback depends on Pilot 2.

Bring your control desk online

The remote and control desk connect to AM Cloud Relay. Share the remote’s Control Room Code; revoke it when handing over access.

WSS, two-way chat and camera commands tested through the VPS. Extended field endurance remains to be tested.

See your Tally status

A bridge receives Program / Preview from the control-desk network and forwards the state to AMRemote.

Tally validated with ATEM and AM Bridge USB. Other Tally systems remain to be qualified.

Chat and messaging

Two-way text messages with delivery status on the tested connection paths.

Chat and receipts tested through AM Cloud Relay and DJI Transmission.

Choose your connection

Local network, Internet or radio pair: different setups for the supported functions.

DJI Transmission with AM Bridge USB tested. DJI SDR: bench transport tested; full device qualification in progress.

Two camera engines

Start without a bridge. Add direct USB control.

AMRemote · without a bridge

RM700AMRemote

A remote running AMRemote is enough for a local network or AM Cloud Relay. Control uses Pilot 2 and its Android accessibility service.

Parameter readback depends on the Pilot 2 display.

AMRemote + AM Bridge USB

AM Bridge USBUSB direct

AM Bridge USB sends commands and checks the values actually applied over USB. On the tested hardware, this method is more effective and less dependent on Pilot 2 menus.

The remote keeps its Internet connection; AM Bridge USB does not need one for this setup.

What’s next

In development, clearly identified.

LUT upload to SSD over the Internet

WSS transfer flow and storage confirmation still require completion. Uploading a LUT is separate from selecting one.
